Graduate students teach a total of two semesters. Teaching is an integral part of the Ph.D. program, providing important experience for all students, not just those who plan academic careers. To fulfill their teaching requirement, most students serve as Teaching Assistants in one laboratory course and one lecture course. Teaching Yale undergraduates is an especially challenging and rewarding opportunity for graduate students in MB&B.
